Engage Over Coffee is your chance to expand and diversify your network in Ann Arbor.

Hosted at a different location each month, this highly facilitated event is intentionally designed to get you out of your normal comfort zone and typical routine. Engage Founder, Brooke Boyle facilitates the event so that you quickly go beyond the small talk and entirely skip the business card pushing of traditional networking.

Rough outline:

8:30 AM Check in and get your name tag. Grab your drink ticket and hop in line.

8:40 AM Announcements, Introductions, and an explanation of "How this works."

We will have small groups of three rotate every ten minutes. So don't worry if you're late. Just come when you can, as you are, and jump in between rotations!

8:50 AM #justdontcallitnetworking begins!

When I announce GO! You’ll look around the room to find 2 people you haven't talked with yet. This way everyone looks and feels equally awkward at the same time.

After 10 minutes of chatter, we will ring the musical triangle to signal it’s time to bring your focus back to me before we rotate and you find 2 new folks to chat with!

We will end rotations by 9:50 AM to allow folks to get to head out or to find folks they wanted to chat with further before the event ends at 10:00 AM.
