The Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority has sponsored six FREE summer movies in Ypsilanti! The final feature film, in time for Halloween, is the Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring a costume contest!
All movies begin at sunset and the tentative schedule is as follows:
June 2: Space Jam at Frog Island Park
June 23 A League of Their Own at Frog Island Park
- featuring an open kickball game beforehand
July 28 Fantastic Mr Fox at the Ypsilanti Water Tower
August 25 (classic) Willy Wonka at the Ypsilanti Water Tower
- featuring free candy and the hunt for the golden ticket
September 29 Encanto at the Ypsilanti Water Tower
October 27 The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Frog Island Park
- Featuring a costume contest
