Canton Township will honor the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special tribute. A punch and cookie reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a program at 6:30 p.m. This year's keynote address will be presented by Martin Philbert, Ph.D., Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, at the University of Michigan. The program will also feature a performance by the Dodson Elementary School Choir. Tickets are $2 a person or $5 for a family, and will be available at the door (cash only).
