Spotlight Players is proud to present the Holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life by Philip Grecian on the Mainstage at The Village Theater in Canton November 29-December 2, 2018. 

It’s a Wonderful Life is the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him—by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born—that his has been, after all, a wonderful life. This adaptation has all your favorite characters: George and Mary Hatch, Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and, of course, the Scrooge-like villain, Mr. Potter. This story not only celebrates the season, it also celebrates the American philosophy of life: hard work, fair play and the love and support of one’s family and community will be rewarded.

Performances are November 29-December 2, 2018 on the Mainstage. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30PM and Saturday and Sunday performances at 2PM at the Village Theater, 50400 Cherry Hill Rd, Canton, MI 48187.

Tickets to the performance are $15-18 each and can be purchased online by going to cantonvillagetheater.org or by calling or in person at the Village Theater Box Office Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 734-394-5300 x3. If there are any remaining tickets, they will also be available for purchase at the box office one hour prior to show time.
