Professional Standard Workshops

Michigan Realtors® will host Professional Standard Workshops on February 15 and 16th. The workshops will be held at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, Mt. Pleasant on February 15 and Laurel Manor, Livonia on February 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

(registration begins at 9 a.m., program starts at 9:30 a.m.) and includes a boxed lunch. Pre-registration is required and the cost for the workshop is $15 per person.

 

 

The workshop will include introductory and advanced professional standards sessions, a mock hearing, panel chair training, and a summary of key changes to the Code of Ethics. This workshop has been created to train members in the procedures to be members of their local Professional Standard Committees, Grievance Committees and members of the Board of Directors, serving as hearing or arbitration panel members and will incorporate real-life ethics and arbitration situations into a fun and interactive session. If you are interested in becoming involved in the Professional Standards process at any capacity, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
