Adults have loved reading and sharing a book together with the “One Community, One Book” model. Now we’re bringing kids and families in on the fun with the Ypsi Family Read! Reading as a family is a great way to spend time together and can lead to great family conversations, too.

Pick up a book, read, then come together for track and field events hosted by Ypsi Running company and a read aloud by Black Men Read on October 13, 2-4pm at Frog Island Park.

Teachers who want to schedule a late September or early October classroom read aloud with someone from Black Men Read to entice students to read more, please contact jodi@ypsilibrary.org for more information.
