Maple Festival

Maple Festival
TBD

( Last Year March 21, 2015)

It’s almost spring in Michigan so that means it’s time to celebrate this year’s bounty of maple syrup that is sure to find its way to your breakfast table. The festival started in 2012 and has grown in popularity each year. Come celebrate with The Big 400 in March of every year!

Some of the ChelseaMich highlights include a pancake breakfast at the American Legion and guided tours with educational tree tapping demonstrations at The Discovery Center. A select group of Chelsea restaurants will also feature maple dishes and or beverages. The Chelsea Alehouse will feature a Smoked Maple Porter and have a pancake breakfast for $7. Maple specials will be served at The Common Grill, and Cleary’s Pub.

Michigan ranks 6th in maple syrup production in the United States and our region is no exception. Here in Big 400 country, we are proud to celebrate the coming of spring each year with Maple Syrup Festival.
